Director Biography – Boris Nicot

Boris Nicot is a filmmaker and editor. He is the author of the short documentaries « Asile » (2005) and « D’assez courtes unités de temps » (2008). He has gone on to make feature-length documentaries: « Un étrange équipage » (2010) and « Filmer obstinément, rencontre avec Patricio Guzmán » (2014), a film inspired by his love of the Chilean filmmaker’s work and his many trips to Latin America.

In 2021, Boris Nicot signed up to direct the diptych « Le PCF dans le siècle » (2×90′ – Part 1: L’internationale et la Marseillaise / Part 2: Le Parti Communiste et le Peuple), written by historian Serge Wolikow.
