We follow the traveling salesman Severus on his way along the rivers Enz, Metter and Neckar. Here he visits the ancient cities of Mühlacker, Oberriexingen, Sachsenheim, Bietigheim and Walheim, which are located near today’s Stuttgart, and discovers their ancient treasures. A connection between antiquity and modernity is established through various leaps in time. Roman history comes to life in today’s germany.
Simon Hermann is a cameraman and director from germany. He did his first steps in corporate movies and started to do short movies together with Felix Meinhardt and Marcus Zimmermann. The romans at enz, metter and neckar was his first documentary with feature movie sequences.
