Amidst a mostly Catholic community, a small tiny Anglican church offers more to the community of Placentia than people may think, and holds many connections and history to the rest of the world.

James Newhook is a filmmaker born in Placentia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and has a deep passion for the history of his home province. He has worked on a variety of different projects since a young age, with a big focus on post-production. He graduated from the Digital Filmmaking program at the College of the North Atlantic in 2022, giving him the professional skills necessary for any job in any area of filmmaking. He has an array of different accolades for his many projects, from winning video contests in his youth, to special mentions and awards for his more recent short films and documentaries.
