The history of the evolution of mankind from the Neolithic period to the end of the Roman period.
There is something new at the Archaeosite of Aubechies (Belgium). The visits will now start with a projection of the immersive film Odyssea in the new room. The public will be able to discover a real historical fresco by going back in time to the distant past of our ancestors.
The film allows us to travel 300,000 years from our prehistory, to the Gallo-Roman period, to finally come back to our contemporary time and feed our reflection on contemporary issues such as the climate question.
Giving to the visitors all the keys in hand to travel in time, Odyssea has many scenes shot at the Archeosite.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Sébastien Duhem has been a filmmaker for 10 years and made a lot of different movies.
His last one about Gallic culture, titled “The Gallic pact” received a lot of awards from the archeological community.
